Jett's Place: The Place to Be

A Campaign to Build Jett's Place

Jett Foundation was founded in 2001 by one mom on a mission to save her son. While our early days were focused on building awareness, advancing research and accelerating treatments, we have now evolved to offer direct service programs for families that have become an anchor in the Duchenne community. These one-of-a-kind programs wrap around the entire family, offering education, connection, and support to families from cities across the nation and from all backgrounds.

The next evolution of our work is to build Jett’s Place: a sanctuary for individuals and families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

Join us in bringing this exciting and hopeful vision to life. Jett’s Place will serve as a premier wellness and retreat center specifically designed for the Duchenne community. It will be a sanctuary where individuals can come to can build lifelong friendships, discover new passions, and gain independence through engaging education, social activities, and life-skills programming.

Built on the insights of the community and powered by volunteerism, Jett’s Place will provide an environment that is completely and systematically designed around the needs of children, youth and adults with Duchenne. This will be a space where people with Duchenne can truly be—where they can be themselves, be free, and be celebrated in a community that embraces them fully, just as they are. Whether they are seeking the tranquility of nature or the thrill of new experiences, our campus provides the support they need to thrive.

At Jett’s Place, there will be no barriers. Everyone is welcome. And everyone belongs.

Together, we can create a lasting sanctuary where every person with Duchenne can experience the joy of being among friends, being in nature, and being their best self.

Nestled on 10 acres in Norwell, MA, Jett’s Place will serve as the dual home for the Jett Foundation’s national headquarters and our new Wellness & Retreat Center.

This idyllic setting, tucked away in the heart of nature, offers a serene environment designed for respite, community connection, and lasting tranquility.
