For the fifth consecutive year, Jett Foundation’s Team Jett participated in the historic Falmouth Road Race to raise important awareness and funds for the Duchenne muscular dystrophy community. Team Jett had 15 athletes cross the finish line of the scenic seven-mile road race located in Falmouth, Massachusetts. 2024 marked the 52nd running of this road race.
Across many Team Jett events each summer, athletes raise funds to reach a fundraising goal that directly supports programs, resources and more for families impacted by Duchenne. Of over 12,000 participants in the Falmouth Road Race, many choose to join nonprofit teams to support great causes while enjoying a beautiful day on Cape Cod. By sharing their “why” and representing Team Jett on race day, athletes continue to raise vital awareness for Duchenne, helping Jett Foundation grow our reach.

Kyla Collette, mother to a child living with Duchenne and longtime Team Jett participant, shares: “Running the race with Jett each year is so special to us (Alex and I) because we run for our son Walker who has DMD. He has inspired us to push ourselves and we are so happy to do that while also supporting Jett Foundation. Jett has been a great source of support for our family and for DMD families everywhere and does so many amazing things for our boys. This year was extra special because my sister Julia, her boyfriend Matt, and my brother DJ ran with us.”
John Wing, a returning athlete to our team in Falmouth and employee at Edgewise Therapeutics, shares: “Jett Foundation does so much for the Duchenne community, so I am happy to do my small part by running with this team. As an Edgewise employee, I am happy to represent the company and support Jett Foundation, as I truly believe it takes all of us as a community to fight Duchenne!”
