World Duchenne Awareness Day honored in Cambridge, MA
September 9, 2016
What a great night celebrating #WDAD16 in Cambridge. Thanks to all who attended and helped us to “Shine a Light on Duchenne.” Nearly 250 patients, families, friends, fellow Duchenne organizations, dedicated healthcare providers, researchers, and industry partners gathered together to honor World Duchenne Awareness Day.
Three hundred lanterns were lit along the Charles River, coinciding with a moment of silence in remembrance of those individuals who have passed away from Duchenne.
Special Thanks to our guest speaker Robert Coughlin, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council and Charles Gate Yacht Club for access to some great photo opportunities!
